Anybody have a car bra on thier Yaris?

I saw some one size fits all covers from Covercraft...but nothing Yaris specific?

I got mine!

I was pushing for someone to make one for us for over a year! Yes, I'd much rather have a "clear bra", but the $400 - $700 price tag...to do something the car should be able to do on it's own...it just wasn't in the cards. As far as how it looks (and LeBra make it, not Covercraft)....its got both looks and function. I only wish they'd made one sooner...freakin rock chips suck!

AND NO, I STILL DON'T HAVE ANY PICS!

Don't get one of those please. They look ugly and they honestly ruin your paint more than they protect it.

I have heard there are issues with your paint getting rubbed or damaged with those...also that the paint will fade unevenly. Which is probably expecially true in Georgia!

On the flipside I drive 100+ miles a day on some rough roads

That is 100% correct. the flex from those bras scratch up your paint and cause way worse damage than small rock chips. Just giving you a heads up. I saw the damage left and right when I worked at a body shop

Yeah they cause the paint to rot away. When you wash your car soap and water gets trapped under the bra. Then years later when you take it off also when your paint starts to fade the paint under the bra is darker so you have a color mismatch.

I've never understood the concept... you put something ugly on your car to prevent it from getting ugly?

Yes it will. There is no difference in bumper. If you are looking at US sites for stuff, you will rarely find '06 listed as they did not get the Yaris until the '07 model year.

I like bras. I even like the way they look. And, if you care for your car and the bra properly, you will have absolutely no paint damage whatsoever.

Car bras are so 80's. 90's maybe. They look like crap. They fade, scratch the paint, flap in the wind, traps in water/grit, hooks rust, velcro weakens.

Not good.

Ever since deflector shields were made for the front of cars, I go with nothing else but. Besides, the front bumper is plastic (not metal) and can be replaced in about 20 minutes for very little cost. Why waste effort protecting it?

Thats my car bra....

and yes .... It damaged my paint.
This happened in spring when the temperature only hit 75 +/-

:( faded my paint.... it slowly returned to normal but I wouldnt put it back on there unless I absolutely had to.... I'd rather tape up my front end on a road trip then put one of these things back on.
