New and lost on my new projectors

Hi all, love the site so far. Here I sold my dually and bought a 3 door Yaris to survive the winter and pay some things off. I bought a set of replacement projector headlights from ipex motoring and love the looks of them but have 2 concerns.

1) The angel eyes on drivers side stay on all the time, but very dim. I checked the grounds and am out of luck.

2) The projectors/low beams have no adjustment for the lights. (up/downd left/right) and it looks like I am spotting for birds.

Any ideas would be great! Thanks again for the wonderful info!

1, what did you tap the wiring into to run the power for the halos?

2, there are 4 bolts that hold the projector in place...they adjust the height

Hi, and thank you. I did like instructions and tied the LED's and halo's together. The lights came with a plug to plug into where one of the 194 type bulbs were. I will look at the lights again, but there are only 2 adjustment bolts on the whole assembly which is for the high beams.
Very nice ride by the way!
Thank you, Shannon

i don't suppose you have a pic of the back of the headlight?

if the halos and led's plug into the 194 slot, are both the leds and halos coming on on one side and not the other? or just the halos on one side?

something you tapped into has power when you don't want it to, then.

also, the 2 screws SHOULD adjust the height of the headlights....you shouldnt have to adjust right/left

Unless I am mistaken, the two screws only do the high beam I think. I will pull it in the garage and look closer. I understand there is power from something, however not sure where. I even tried a different socket for the light and still does it. Just strange that the other side doesnt do it. I think I will take it over to pass. side to test. If it does it there then its something in the light itself.

Thank you for your help, Shannon

Well, I am an idiot! lol I finally found the 2 screw heads for the projectors. I also aimed the high beams. The halos have an issue, so they are sending me out 4 of the newer brighter replacements free of charge.

Thank you, Shannon

i had same issue with those lights and the halos staying on at drivers side....i finally gave up and put stock headlights back in.....also keep a set of spare bulbs in car as they tend to burn out every few months....i went through 6 sets in a 10 month timeframe....it sucked

let us know what you figure out on the halos staying on

ah, good to know that both sets of lights are adjustable. I'd read that only the high beams were adjustable, but that didn't make sense, lol. guess i can go ahead and order these then.

I finally have them adjusted. Love the looks of the lights! Sadly, I think its a problem with the little black box that the wires come out of. About 1"x2". The drivers side halos stopped working last night!

Afternoon all! I replaced the Halo LED's they sent. They are brighter being the SMD's but thats all. The drivers side is still on dim when swithced off.:-( I have been through everything with volt meter and its something when they are all tied together... When separate it is fine. Not sure, but I tired of messing with it. Thanks for replies. Really wish they had a flippin phone number! I have emailed them again to see what next...

Are you plugging a harness into the stock headlight connectors? If so, post a pic of the connection, as it sounds like the driver's side pinning is incorrect.
