The guy with the 487,000 mile Yaris uses Walmart oil.
You see its like this. Somewhere someplace theres a great big vat of oil. all the oil companies take their oil out of this one big vat. Then they put it in bottles with their name on it. If they call it Walmart they charge $12 for it. If they call it Mobile One they get $27. Its all the same thing. More or less.

Did they analyze Walmart Super Tech? Regular? Thats what I have used in the recent past, mostly.
Has any oil they ever tested "failed"?

Not that I'm aware off . Maybe in the future . They test all kinds of motor oils , automatic transmission fluids , etc.. I think the Super Tech conventional is by Warren Oils or Warren Petroleum Products . There's a discussion of that at Bob Is The Oil Guy . You may be able to Google it . If you have a bottle of the Super Tech there could be initials starting with a W followed by other letters at the bottom of the bottle or on the back .
