NF210 Tanabe install

Thanks to Chris07LB for his guide. I bought these springs used from Fenanorn a couple weeks ago and finally had a chance to put them on.

Just wanted to put a little info on the install and some pictures.

car is a 2007 automatic, 84k miles and pretty much stock. this was my wifes car which i now inherited after i sold my gt500 a few months ago, so now this is my daily driver.

The hardest part of the install was on the front end links, there is a spot for a 6mm allen key inside the bolt, my endlinks were corroded and rusted. Couldn't for the life of me get them to turn, so i picked up a 6mm allen socket and messed both links up. So i was over thinking it and tried drilling one side out, as i thought it was a cap screw originally. Put a set of vice grips on the back and hit it with my impact and came off instantly. Couldn't believe i wasted so much time on this part.

The instructions said cut from 18mm to 25mm off the bumpstop, 25mm equates to almost an inch, which is pretty much what i cut off on both sides. I didn't follow Chris' info on this, and i hopefully cut the right part according to tanabes instructions.

The rear springs are very easy, and the front is not too bad with air tools. I removed the wiper motor and underneath brackets so i could just hit the top strut nut with the impact.

After i finished it, i saw my strut mounts sit up some, but i never noticed if it was like this with the stock springs.

car drives much better and sits better as well. going to be putting on some mr2 spyder rims on soon and i'd like a rear sway bar. no real big plans past that. the yaris is a good economy car and has served us well for 60k+ miles. i am quite happy with it.
