OCV oil mesh filter location
I have the 1NR-FE 1.33 engine and recently replaced the Oil Control Valves which were very easy to do. The reason for doing this was the cold start rattle for a second or so. Nonetheless this did not resolve the issue.
I can't seem to locate the oil mesh filter for the OCVs. Doesn't seem to be hidden behind the alternator in the block and I've seen one video for a Toyota engine showing it to be under the rocker cover housing to the left. Can anyone confirm? |
