Noob question...

Wanna make my yaris sound a little beefier or just more audible, my stereo setup completely drowns out the sound of the engine, what mods could I do. Would an aftermarket muffler help? Money is an issue so the more wallet friendly, the better.

Money an issue, muffler delete if you want to hear your engine over the stereo.

Go to a muffler shop and have them weld on a magnaflow muffler. Call around. Or you can purchase an axle back exhaust... you can find those all over

Yeah I'm at the stage where I use my music to drown my engine out. 2 1/2" straight pipe from cat to back.

I have a 10" kicker sub in ported box, 800w Polk audio amp for the sub, Polk audio door speakers and 400w Kenwood amp for the door speakers. People are impressed at the sound coming from my tiny car lol
