Red face New inside!

Hi guys and girls!

My name is Patricia and I own a Yaris sedan 2007 since July 2006.

I love it so muccchhhh!! That car is realy surprising! I start with some basic modifications: rims 17" FastWheel Inferno, Antyre hp188, Apex springs (1,3"), short shifter (throw) TWM+shift knobb TWM, HID 6000k (projectors soon), and little sound system sub Type E+ampli.

Here are some pictures:

I'm here to learn more about that car, because in the province of Quebec (Canada) we aren't a lot of owner. I'm the second one with a modify Yaris (sedan)!!!!

Hope I'll enjoy this forum...and....sorry if i'm making some mistake my first language isn't the english as you can see!

Welcome Trish! I have the same car except in white, and I want to use the same wheel style/size. My question is, did the ride become too harsh after putting the 17" on? How was handling affected?

In the corners, beleive me, the Apex Springs+tires make a huge difference! I'm also doing lapping with it. As for the harshness 9don't know if I can say that lol) I think it depend of what you are putting on. My Apex springs aren't to harsh, but maybe the TEIN one will be more rude. Next summer, I will change the whole suspension for a TEIn coilovers kit for sure.

Yes! I brough it twice for lapping and once for a «drag» racing. Love that so much. On October 14, I will go to Mecagliss (in Mont Tremblant) for a full day of lapping with instructors. Can't wait to be there!!

SO COOL!!! I take mine to auto-cross, next one is Sept 16, can't wait!

I would love to do time trials on track! Maybe next year, after I get suspension done.

It's a great choice to wait until you get an other suspension. The original one isn't that bad but...it's not a sport car so...
