PSA:Gear box oil.
since I got my car the only issue was switching to 3'rd,then winter came and it was really tough and had to toggle knob to engage it and whenever possible I would skip it and go to 4'th.
I had an oil change and car detailing gift certificate so asked them to swap the car detailing for gear box oil change(I had to supply gear oil)seems fair enough. Well know the gears shift real smooth and no issue what so ever engaging 3'rd. Anyway if you have any issue then I highly recommend Red Line MT-90 75W-90 GL-4.I paid $23.00 CAD from local shop for 1 Quart(You will need 2) and its definitly worth every penny. Going to go syn for the engine in the winter then switch back to normal in spring aswell. Anyway just thought I would share. |
