18' mag wheels - Toyota Yaris Forums

Does anybody know if 18's will rub anywhere or would i be safer with 17's

not planning on lowering

and what offset would be the best

i see the trd mag wheels are 18x7.5 +45 should i stick to the same offset or would +42 be better

thankyou anyone that can help is much appreciated

(Just took delivery of my yaris YRX, dynamic blue metallic, 5 speed has done a 110kms on first day lol)

Plenty of people are lowered with 18s and have no problems. I think if you use 17s and a low pro tire and the car isnt lowered the wheel well gap is going to look ridiculous. It would probably look a little better with 18s, either way, without going low the car is going to look like a mini monster truck..

You can easily run 18's or 19's without any rubbing problems. However, without lowering, your Yaris will look a little silly. The problem is that the wheel gap will be greater than the sidewall, and the gap will be further accentuated running at the outerlimits with a 7.5, ET45.

you do not have to run staggard offsets.... staggard is just a prefferance for some

Hey mate,

ET42 would be okay all 'round. A staggered offset application may look a bit better, but it certainly isn't necessary.

I presume you'll be running 215/35's on 18's. That being the case, you need to run high offset rims otherwise the tire sidewalls will poke out up front, which will look especially go-cart like since you won't be lowering the car.

For your application, I would recommend rims with ET45-48.
