were there any other pics of that car...maybe an engine bay shot? just really doesnt sound like a 2zz to me.....except in the second last vid....

So there we have it..... confirmed the swap can be done. Now who else is going to step up to the plate aren't these motors expensive. I thought they were lik 4k

rockland toyota said he spoke to a guy at a shop near him in NY and the guy said that there was a yaris LB with a 2ZZ swap driving around the area.

Wow it is true saw it once at drag strip in Salinas or Ponce can't remember it's hard to get a hold of any of these cars cuase street racing is a sport around here so they go to the strip just to see numbers and then leave it all at the streets

that's really cool. i'd love to see the stock tachometer hitting the 8000rpm it goes to.

lol, i miss my xrs for that....was hard getting used to a measly 6400 redline - - thats where the fun starts in an xrs....

1 ?..... are all of the videos in the 1/4 mile??... it seems a little slow to be doing 13's 14's on a 1/4

The 2zz will fit, but the space to the firewall is a bit tight so a turbo application would be hard. I spoke with th guys in Michigan at Monkey Wrench earlier in the year. He reffered me to take a look at a site called www.SickEcho.com and ask him since technically its our "first" generation.
