need a little help with color matching....for the yaris
I just need some opinions and suggestions from you guys. I'm thinking of painting my rims black (they are white right now) and have a white lip on it.
I have a dark blue yaris (nautica blue metallic to be exact) and I was thinking of doing my rims black to match future add-ons like a cf hood, thinking of doing a black spoiler, blacking out the emblems, tinting rear lights and front a little. Now the white lip on the rims could bring out any decals (stickers woot! lol) I put on the car so I have kind of a 3-tone color yaris (sedan). What you guys think? I dont have photoshop or i would make a rough edit picture of my car. |

Throw up a pic of it, and I'll try to PS the rims black and leave the lip white. If I'm not on I'm sure someone will do it.

I say the more contrast there is the better it looks. I would keep the white parts white, but if there has to be a change I would shoot for a light silver
But since you're determined to go darker, either a dark gray or flat/primer black would match well with any CF parts and blacked-out details IMO

If you're gonna go with a carbon fiber hood then I would say use a color that matches it like
a gunmetal.

I saw your car in person on Sunday, and wouldn't paint the rims. The contrast of the white rims with the super-dark blue makes it one of the sharpest looking sedans I've seen.

The rims look great, no change is necessary.
