Spoiler Installed, 2007 Yaris LB.

Hey all I wanna sent a BIG shout out to "Kaotic Lazagna" for (being bored) and swinging by my house after work today to help me install the spoiler I got from Taiwan. It arrived today, painted and ready to go, and boom its on my car. I have to day, I am very happy with it. Again, a massive shout of thank you to Kaotic Lazagna for all his help. I simply could not have done this without it. THAAAAANK YOOOUUU

OK Pics! (Resized to go a little easier on the forums)

A few more pictures. I know it's probably lame, but I had to drive it after the spoiler was installed. Just went down like 10 blocks and then got a little something at Taco Bell on the way back.

Wow he did update the price! I didn't even notice. He was super professional, and easy to work with. When I first paid for it the instructions were to put the paint code in the comments section of the PayPal, but there was no comments section. I send the guy an e-mail. His English was pretty good and he responded quickly. Then I realized I gave him the address of my old work. I e-mailed him again to change my address and he again responded quickly letting me know and asking for conformation of the address change. The paint job is almost perfect. There is a tiiiiny little run of pain in one of the corners, but otherwise it appears to be a perfect match and the clear coat seems good.

The wing came with a couple self tapping screw that looked useless and the plastic caps to go over the screw holes on the top.

Yeaaaaaahhh.... I honestly had not thought of that till after. However the extra hole made getting to the screw hole a lot easier. Kaotic Lazagna had the idea of using one of the magnetic wands to get the nut in place and then I jammed my thumb into the drilled hole to hold it in place so the bolt went through it easier. Then used needle nose pliers to hold the secure it while it was screwed in from the other side.

Oh and I want to go on record by saying that DRILLING HUGE HOLES INTO MY POOR INNOCENT LITTLE CAR WAS VERY TRAUMATIZING!!!111ONEONEONE

But thanks for the Kudos.

Thanks man. Just remember to put down to painters mask before drilling. Its mainly just to provide a liiiiitle buffer to help keep the drill bit steady. Using a pilot bit first is also huge. I did that for all 4 of my holes, big and small.

I hear ya on cell phone pics.

I can hardly imagine it. I have never done anything like this to any car I have ever owned... Ever... I never thought I would be the kind of person to modify his car in any way at all and now here I am drilling 1 inch holes into the underside of my hatch and slapping on a spoiler. I look at the photos and I am still kind of amazed thats my garage, and my car.

Can't wait to install my lights!

I hear ya. I will feel better once I track down some thick rubber stoppers to plug those holes. I will cut out some custom ones if I have to.

Well I finally managed to quit smoking, and Beer is more of a weekend thing for me so I did the next best thing and just went for a short drive and hit Taco Bell on the way back.

Wow, that's a decent price even with shipping. Perhaps some of my tuition refund could be diverted that way... =)

Has anyone tried this spoiler on a MM in some other color? I was thinking black sand pearl would look decent, or metalic orange if some other panels were going to be painted to match.
