New owner

Well, a lease actually...

I had to get rid of my exploding Exploder and with trade in I could only afford a lease, but it wasnt worth my time and effort to fix the truck's many problems (IE losing all interior lights on the way to the toyota dealer-but all fuzes serviceable) then sell it and finance the car. Long story short I have a Sedan Yaris to replace my 15 MPG exploder.

I dont have too many plans for this car, it wont be a race car by any means. I do however have some 15" Konig Holes rims sitting around from a previous car that will go on and perhaps my 12" sub I just removed from my truck. Only other plan is to thoroughly dynamat (or similar product) the entire interior and trunk to reduce road noise and avoid sub rattle.

The car is a 2007 base model sedan plus A/C, Pacific Blue

Welcome!

What kind of sub do you have? Also what amp you're planning to put in?
I'm planning to replace headunit, speakers and get a amp+sub.

But I had a hatchback a while ago and 12" was way too much. The bass was too loose. I think I'll stick to 8" or 10" this time.

I have a crappy 12"Sony (no flaming please! lol) and I think 300W MTX, not the strongest but I dont need the world to hear my music. If it's too overpowering, or simply takes up too much space, I'll get an 8 or 10 incher and see if the 12 will fit behind the seat of my 89 Nissan HB pickup "project". I've moved forward beyond my Mk1 CRX days when it wasnt enough base until you couldnt see out the rear view mirror.

I wasnt having electrical problems before, but I think my issue was my Ford's final F-You before I got rid of it. good riddance. I wish I coulda gotten an aero package, or purchase for that matter, but I got the cheap package lease till I can ride out some accumulated debt... the gas savings alone will help, no longer costing 70-80$ per fill!

I know your pain. I had a ford exploder...it died, then bought the ford SHO..its just a lemon I think. So ya a toyota is a good change.

O and how do you like the Pacific Blue colour ? I hav'nt seen one in person but I liked it best from all the pics I had seen. It was either that or the flint Mica.

I love the colour, I asked for it since they didnt have it on the lot so they took one out of thier storage compound and it confirmed that it was my favorite available colour. The dealer there was great too, since I couldnt get my car right away they payed me a full tank of gas to drive my truck home and they're including 7 years/160,000Km free oil and filter changes for free.
