Rear drums constant squeak???
Hi guys new here, ever since I replaced the rear shoes on the yaris it squeak real bad when braking what the best way to adjust or anyone else had the same problem?

I think I may have the solution. My rear drums were squeaking bad after long usage. I found out that my rear parking lever within the drum assembly wasn't retracting, hence it was stuck in the on mode, rubbing with the drums all the time.
So I sprayed it all down, and no more sticking, it actually release. I also loosened the star wheel a little for itself to adjust back. Worth a shot... |
