Check the large connectors that plug into the battery terminals. In the past a couple of people have had issue with those connector pins being severely oxidized, causing similar behavior.

I will check them out this weekend. Thanks CTScott!
Dose the ground kit defect anything in the vehicle? I got a ground kit running in the vehicle. I notice the battery is needs to start the vehicle. Once the vehicle start is running by the alternator not the battery any more. Is that true ? |

CTScott, I had check everything and I dont see any wrong wit it. All ground cable is connect and tight. Could it be the ignition problem or air, fuel. Vehicle basic running on those three things. Either one failure can be the problem. ThX!

When you say it "flicks" do just the lights flicker, or does the engine stop running briefly?

It just complete lost everything for a sec and come back up. The first time happened to when I come to the stop light. The vehicle lost all the power and come back up in just sec. I can feel the steering wheel very hard to turn. The second time I was driving on the freeway. Suddenly the light was out and came back up.

If everything is cutting out, then I would not suspect ignition, fuel, etc., as the lights would still stay on if the engine itself cut out for a second. I would try wiggling connectors with it running, like the ignition switch connector, to see if you have a loose terminal.

At 75k miles I would replace the battery (if you have not done so already).
As Scott said, carefully inspect the battery connectors, remove them both, (Ground first) and clean or replace them if need it. Clean the battery side as well. If the alternator was replaced, check the connections as well. Give Scott more info, if anyone can help you here, he is probably the ONE :) |
