Faulty fuel gauge???
I have a 1999 Toyota Yaris that has run extremely well over the years - no major problems and I am very happy with it.
 However, last week I filled the tank up and the fuel guage is still showing full to the top and usually after a week it shows that its gone down a bar or two, so not sure if it is faulty?? A friend of mine said that if its faulty it might be that I need a fuel tender and said it would cost LOADS of money!!  Any suggestions???

Could be pump shut off later than usual resulting in over filling the tank. There is a substantial amount of fuel that can be held in the filler neck. Just wait it out a while longer instead of hitting the panic button so quickly. I'm sure the gauge will drop soon, if it hasn't already.
