My Yaris Mods

Bought a 2007 Sedan last month and I've been really enjoying it. Loving the 40+ MPG it has. Been tweaking it a bit based on DIYs here and thought I'd show off.

Changes made:
1. All Interior lights Replaced with LEDs
2. Painted Console Fascia and Outside Edge of the Control Knobs with Rustolium "Oil Rubbed Bronze"(The bright silver really annoyed me)
3. DIY Hood Sealer made from Rubber Door weather strip.
4. 3/8" Electrical Flex tubing used to cover the small A/C line. Only 6" was covered using the same material when bought.
5. Used a High Quality Polyurethane 12" Bunge cord for the Battery clamp until I buy one through the dealer.
6. Freshened up mat insignias using silver and black paint.

Very nice! It is amazing what some paint can do to the interior, what paint did you use on the carpets?

Paint was just the $1 acrylic craft store paints in 2oz bottles. I had it on hand and being a plastic modeler and knew since it was acrylic that it would easily soak into in fabric. These paints also dry flat which would help the look as well.

I cleaned up the logos first with water and paper towels and cut off any long loose frayed threads. Up close you can tell that the silver was painted as the back and forth threads are still missing in spots but you'd need to get close to see it. The black I was quite pleased with. Looks like newly sewn thread all around the edge!
