10 Bucks for Tire Rotation
I went to Toyota Dealer in my town. They told me it only costs 10 bucks to have rotation on four tires.
This is cheap! I made an appointment with them and I'll do that next Friday. |

This is a good price! If they are as reasonable on balancing I would go ahead and do that with every rotation if you follow the 5K schedule.

I gladly pay the $10 at my dealership when it's due during an oil service. The car is already in, it takes them even less than 15 min to do job, and it saves me the hassle because I don't have the tools/space to do it at home.

if it only takes 15 min to rotate and balance they must be on speed. its probably just a rotation. just a hint but some places dont do the balancing, a good trick is to check the wheel weights afterwards. if they look newer or are in different locations then before then they did it. ;)

It's just been a rotation for me, I haven't needed a balancing yet. The lift at the dealership is pretty cool. It raises the whole car (duh) with the tires on it and then can raise it off the lift (jack it up).

Here's a link for discount tire locations in Utah. If there is one near you, they will rotate your tires for free.....even if you did not buy anything there. |

If you buy Costco tires, you get free balance and rotation for the life of the tires.
Not bad, plus road hazards are covered as well. I always reccomend re-torquing your wheels when you get home though! ALWAYS!

Actually, if you have a regular tire shop to go with, they will not charge you to rotate the tires.
I know some tires stores, the nation-wide ones, they will offer you free tire rotation too if approached nicely with "Yeah, I bought the tires here, but..". Yes, these free services sometimes can take a good hours but you can keep your hands clean. |
