stock wheel
i have this for stock steel wheel right now
14" 5-6" - 175/65 but when i measure the wheel with measuring tape, i see it's 15" diameter. am i missing something here? the tire spec says 175/65/14

Half inch of the lip on the rim doesn't count,thats why you are getting an inch bigger 1/2" lip + 1/2" lip. It goes by the inner diameter of the tire.

The outside diameter of any wheel will measure about 1" more than the tire that fits it.
