I looked into this device some time ago, it is pretty cool, more or less like Pioneer's Vehicle Dynamics Computer add-on, but I don't think it has any/many of the OBD-II diagnostic/monitoring functions of the Scangauge?

Yeah buying both would be nice, but one doesn't do more then the other, and that one doesnt conect with OBD-II. Scanguage does.
Just as they are different, they give you different options. |

Ive had one for a while its cool. it doesnt always show a code if its thrown though, as in the code has to be present for 2 driving cycles before it shows it since the ECU likes to verify that its really a problem.

I don't have either, but I do like the way you can use the suction cups for the gtech. Question, would this be anymore accurate than the scangauge when being used as a rpm tach?
