Gauging Interest for Hood Production

Looking for interest in this hood design. If there is enough interest, TK-421 is willing to consider production. Please let us know what you think.

That is exactly the purpose of the two rear vents.

Even the Kavin T hood is perfect in design, uses 2 vents on the side to extract heat. OEM look, its flawless in my book.

Maybe change the upper vents to this style and see how it would change the appearance, maybe for better?

Pricing has not been decided yet. Less than $400 for sure.

What would it be made of, and what would the weight be? Also, with a hood of that type, is their any real chance of rain getting in and damaging the engine? I live in florida, so massive rain storms are a definite happening.

With all hoods of this style, there is always a chance of getting rain in the engine bay (minimal). The rear vents should not cause any problems to the engine based on their location (not dumping into the intake). Also remember rain is always a factor with any engine while driving as it is always swirling around your engine while driving in the rain. The front intake is angled to allow rain not to gather and drain forward.

How many of you out there with sedans would purchase this style hood?

Also remember that this thread is just gauging interest, not a production thread. IF there is enough interest, which it looks as if there is, I will move forward with plans to produce this. Keep the poll votes coming and your questions.
