Detailed (Exterior) my Yaris for the first time today...

Hi Everyone,

Well, I decided to detail Liberty today! My work place has underneath parking, so waxing was fun...

Phase I - Exterior
Washed the car before dawn really good first with Meguiar's Gold Class Car Shampoo & Conditioner. Dried her off with a Microfiber towel. Came to work...

Cleaned all glass, lights, and mirrors with Stoners Invisible Glass - inside and out....

Worked in sections waxing with Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Wax...

Cleaned tires and rims with only water and soap...

Detailed black trim with Mothers Back-to-Black...

Phase II - Interior
On Memorial Day...

Here are some pics with waxing and then the finished product...

Cheers!

Forget Phase II.
Just drive over to my apartment and do a Phase I on my car.

Okay, you know I'm just kidding. The car looks great!
It's so shiny that some of the reflections look like dents! We can even see
your reflection in some of the pics.

LOL! Thanks guys...

I need a trip out West to California.

I'm a bit bummed right know...

A tree just fell on my car!!! Thank God no scratches. But, as the limb fell one of the secondary branches speared onto the passenger windshield grill and punched a hole through it. Does anyone know how much that passenger side piece of the winshield grill for a 2010 costs to replace? My insurance deductible for tree related damage (Collision) is $500. I do not know what to do... I'll go out and take pictures and post on this Thread. I'm sooo sad...

Phase II is on hold. Right now, I'm only vacuuming and wiping the dash and other plastic pieces with a static dry dust cloth. Possibly, will be applying Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer?

I have to cheer up!

Here is the damage from the limb coming down...

Any idea how much roughly this part from Toyota costs? It looks like it is in two sections and I would have to purchase the passenger side portion? Or would I have to purchase the whole plastic part???

Any advance would be appreciated... this is killing me!

I wouldn't concern too much w minor damage parts as for the cars lose their value way too quickly.
