Are your current tires spinning on launch?
When I had my 09 supercharged, it was very easy to spin when launching with stock tires, so I upgraded to 205 width Nitto Neogens. Even prior to being supercharged, I could break the stock tires loose if I really tried (or if the pavement was at all wet). Now that I am no longer supercharged, but still have the Neogens, I can't break them loose unless the pavement is super slick.

Well .. as i have both rims ... I am getting confused on tyre profile ...
I have 16" Lenso LS GT And 15" OZ racing I tried KUMHO 205/50/16 tyres on my Lenso .. they were good at launch but i lost few races just because of the lower top end ... I wont mind a lil spin on launch .. all i want is a good top end + good launch |

The smaller the better in overall diameter. Less weight and size means more power to the ground.
