opinions

i know there are alot of alignment threads and many of them....are well....useless. lol

my personal situation is i ate thru my all seasons, i was lowered durring the summer and never had an alignment. im back up on stocks for the winter and my winter tires show no excess wear. im fairly sure my rears got a huge toe in when i lowered but not exactly sure.

anyway, im looking for the best advice as to what to do in the spring.

i plan to put my coilovers back in and my rear sway and front strut and leave them in, coilovers go down to the lowest settings durring the summer and i plan to only coil it up only for the winter. i am trying to avoid getting an alignment in the spring and fall and at the same time want my car to drive true all year round and have lasting summer and winter tires.

what do u guys recomend and what kind of adjustments are needed to fix my alignment?

i was told by a studying mechanic that to fix toe on the yaris rear suspension setup that they will have to shim it but if camber is messed ill need to buy a camber kit for the shop to install?

and while my car is in the shop, is there anyway to tighten up the steering wheel to the wheels? or should i wait and see how a proper alignment will feel? when the car was new i loved it but it feels like its gotten sloppy.

i was recomended by a member to pull the electronic steering motor fuse.....and i recomend to all other members this is a bad solution and well sucks and doesnt improve anything.

last question, take it to toyota for alignment or small shop that i trust?
