In this time of the financial recession, i don't think (even) toyota would do such thing.
Do you know what's involved into opening new dealerships? And i do not think Scion will work good in Quebec. People here are more on the fuel economy side.. |

Most Scion dealers here in the states use the Toyota dealerships as a launching/selling platform to ditribute their cars.

I don't think I've ever seen a Scion dealer that wasn't attached to or adjacent to a Toyota dealership.

we have one in Arlington that is a stand alone/take over of a former Chevy dealer. But to your point, the Toyota dealer is about a 1/2 mile up the road

It's going to happen sooner then you think, especially if they're going to bring the iQ to NA branded as a Scion.

As for economy the older versions of the XB were Echo's with a different body, not sure about the newer version. Since starting the post i have discovered many used XB's http://www.hebdo.net/result/result.a...&type=province for sale in the Montreal area but at an inflated cost. |

Yep, all the Toyota dealers around here also carry Scion. I have never seen a stand alone Scion dealership.

Umm I thought the Scion brand was hitting Canada real soon. There should be a thread on it unless it was made before the hack.

Yes, it will certainly be interesting to have the B.C. Toyota dealers carry the Scion line. I see quite a few Scions running around Vancouver and am wondering if people are buying them across the border and driiving them up here.
