Component Owners...Crossover Placement?

For those of you that installed 6 1/2 components up front, where did you stick the crossovers? The obvious place I thought was *in* the door or under the dash, but I was just wondering what others did with 'em?

under the rear seat.

mines are quite big, about the size of a Dlink DIR-615 router.

I mounted my crossovers on the doors. Why spend that much money on something you hide? BLING BLING BIOTCH!

could go under the seats, under the dash, in the doors. I personally like a hidden spot that is easily accessible in case you ever have to mess with it.

Keep crossovers away from the center console tho.... have heard bad things about transmissions inducing wierd noises into inductors (the big coils).

Mine are actually in the doors on the armrest. There is a shelf like thing there that they ride on easily without screwing them down. The door panel actually holds them in place once its re-installed.

I put mine in there too, but just to make sure, used strip of weather-proof 3M double sided tape on each crossover.

in the doors. the infinity crossovers i have are not adjustable, they are fixed, so i didnt see the need to put them in a easily accessable place like under the dash. they do have a db boost for the tweeters, but i have yet to find a amp or deck that wasnt overly bright with the db boost on the tweets.

so, mounted to the inside of the door!
