How do you know?
I've seen people say certain speakers will or wont sound good with certain HU's. How do I know what speakers are good for me?

It's not about the brand of the speakers or headunit. The specific performance of the pieces, the enviroment the pieces are installed in, the install itself, and the user's own ears are the qualifiers for performance of speakers.
...Not a simple answer. I noticed the statement on another topic, "The same speakers will sound different in different cars, no matter how bad or good they are."

Both have output ratings. The higher the output usually means it will cost more. Matching the output within your price range will usually give you what you pay for.
