Front bumper drop

Hi all. So I just noticed that recently, whenever an average person with considerable weight sits in the front seat, the bumper on that side descends and that part scratches surfaces easily. Like road ramps even when I climb gently.

Is that a sign that I need to replace the front shocks?

Edit: it's a 2007 sedan with 158000 km on it and I'm the third owner with no idea if it has been changed
