Air Filter Replacement - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hello all,

I was wondering when you would need to change your air filter for the first time.

I have been experiencing more then horrible acceleration, and was wondering if it had to do with my air filter. I only have 8600 miles on my yaris.

I have taken my car to the dealership twice and been told I was crazy and that there is nothing wrong with it. I recently drove a 2010 Honda Accord, and a 2003 Hyundai Accent; both of those have way far superior acceleration to my car.

Any Ideas what could be causing such poor acceleration?
