Best "normal" tires for this car?

There's a LOT of rubber out there, and I think we should use this thread to compare what brands and models are good, share experiences, etc. Whilst high-performance tires are certainly the best, we should try to concentrate on what people would use on a daily basis.

Personally I basically had the choice between Nankang (China brand), Michelin, Hankook or Falken, and went for the latter (FK-451) as they were not much more expensive, sportier looking, and of a brand which is probably better known for motorsports

So far, so good, they have more than enough grip to handle the awesome power of the engine (cough cough), and even at decent speeds on wet road, they've been more than stable enough.
