Best "normal" tires for this car?
There's a LOT of rubber out there, and I think we should use this thread to compare what brands and models are good, share experiences, etc. Whilst high-performance tires are certainly the best, we should try to concentrate on what people would use on a daily basis.
Personally I basically had the choice between Nankang (China brand), Michelin, Hankook or Falken, and went for the latter (FK-451) as they were not much more expensive, sportier looking, and of a brand which is probably better known for motorsports ![]() So far, so good, they have more than enough grip to handle the awesome power of the engine (cough cough), and even at decent speeds on wet road, they've been more than stable enough. |
