Help : door lock manual-power conversion
Hi,
I bought a keyless entry kit from Ebay. When I tried to install it, I realized that that kit was for powered door lock only which does not include any actuator. Since I can't return the kit, my questions are : (1) if I get some aftermarket actuator, can I get it to work? (2) If so, what type of actuator should I get? (3) with the aftermarket actuator, where is the best position to mount it. I only plan to power the lock on driver's side. My car is 07HB. The keyless entry kit is VIPER 211HV. Thanks a lot. |
