Rocker panels
OK so my car is just over 4 years old now, and I am noticing that on my rocker panels the paint is worn down to the white undercoat (at least I think that's what it is) just infront of the rear tires, as well as right behind the mud guards on the front wheels. At one point it has gone down to bare metal and rust is starting to form.
My question is, what can I do to prevent this and stop the spread of this rust? I don't want to have to repaint my whole car anytime soon, but I've heard of 3M transparent vinyl or something that can be placed on these parts to prevent damage to paint, etc. I will take some pics of this later today. |
