smokey 1.4 D - only 52K miles
hi all
I've just bought a Yaris diesel on 52K miles. It produces white smoke if you give it welly but otherwise runs sweetly and quietly. Is this normal for a 52K car? I rummaged back through it's history and at only 5K miles someone put petrol in it. Also at 42K miles it failed its yearly exhaust emissions test. I believe this was rectified using some sort of fuel cleaner or something. Any ideas what could be wrong? Also it tends to wander and it is annoying having to constantly keep it in a straight line.
