review on Ziitaku HId hi/low single bulb mechanical.

great kit too bad i cant get barbers kit only coz hes too far away.. but got the ziitaku kit..a little new when it comes to single bulb hi/lo due to they made the hi beam kit to have built in relay on it so plug and play and no running wires across the engine bay...had issue with flicker but that was solve by disconnecting blue wire from the drl relay box and i get to keep my fogs too..by the way i tried relaying the kit due to flicker and that just didnt work due to PULSE DRL..good thing i didnt have to resort to adding capacitors... here is the kit photo.

its because they're all from china, just from different manufacturers.

i recently changed the company i bought from and the kits look EXACTLY the same. only differences are the box design and the stickers on the ballasts...

i don't care if its DDM, garm, or anyone else, they all likely buy from china. the quality is all the same and the only way DDM can sell so cheap is by buying them by the boatload...

barber is correct, china factories charge for whatever branding and labels you want on the ballasts and box and ship it out. All these are the same designs internally regardless of brand. The days of "quality" brands are over for HID kits, that was years ago when they actually rebased OEM ballasts with KET connectors.

Since i've attempted to deal with china companies before for my line of work, i'm forever on their mailing lists and they occasionally send me their price lists. It's not a matter of buying by the boatload since they usually set minimum orders of 500-1000, it's just the cost of importing and profit margins. I've seen the price lists direct from china and the kits go as low as 12.99 for an whole kit with 2 ballasts and 2 bulbs.

Even if they are all manufactured from the same country, there should still be some differences between the various companies that manufacture them, especially ones that may have some quality control.
