gettin started
started out wanting a little sound deadening for the doors so they wouldnt sound so flimsy when ya shut em, i like a nice thud. grabbed a bulk pack of dynomat, yes i know they're plenty of products some better some cheaper but o well...i'm not paying retail for it don't worry. for some i may have gone overboard a little bit, for other not enough lol, i used about 4.5 sheets (16sqft) on just the drivers door. outter skin got full coverage and 2x in some broad areas and behind midwoofer (which will be replaced). inner skin got the large holes covered with some roof flashing and a single layer over it entirely. i was cut up n bit up and didn't take any pics, i'll grab some when i go to swap out speakers. took a few hours but it sounds 100x better imo. passenger side will go much quicker. and i'll probably give in and cover the rear at least over the wheel wells to quiet it down some. been following a few of the threads trying to get some ideas of where placements work/look good. anyways i'll try n keep up with it, i'm no audiophile or anything just like to crank some music and generally try n use some quality gear.
