Does the hatch have the same enigine and trans as a sadan,

and is the one in Grand rapids hit? and who can I call?

As far as I know, the powertrain is the same for the sedan and hatch. I drive past that place every day on my way to school, so I can stop in and ask them about it tomorrow. Not sure if they would let me take pics, but I can at least report back on the details. If you want to email/call them, their contact page has the info.

Hey Cranky, if you do stop by there can you ask them if they have the cargo cover for the Yaris? If so, how much is it? Thanks.

I'm assuming that you mean the one for the hatchback, that goes over the cargo area? As far as I can tell, this one's a sedan. Now that I think of it, I'm not entirely sure if Pavel wants a sedan or hatch...

Turns out that they do have an '08 hatch, but I forgot to ask if it had the cover. I can stop by again tomorrow morning, or you can give them a call (link above).

I stopped by and asked about it, but it's not for sale in "whole frame" form. Once they get a vehicle, it has a salvage title, and they won't sell the whole frame. If there's a particular part of the frame that you want cut off, they can do that.

I called them shortly after I posted yesterday. They said they did not have any Yarii in stock. I'll call them back with the stock #.

It's at the Grand Rapids location. Make sure you're calling the auto parts store, not the "repairables" location.
