I cant figure out the controls of the stock iPod dock for the life of me.

Hey guys. so I have a 2011 hagchback with an iPod connector in the glove box. I have a bit of a problem though. When I connect my iPod I'm able to change songs via the tune knob, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to browse via artist, album, excetera. Can you guys help me out and let me know how I can browse my ipod via artist. It's starting to drive me insane, ha ha. Thanks guys.

insane is a good word, this is one where you need to find the instruction booklet. never used the stock one, but the one on my alpine would have been impossible to decipher without the manual.
