jesus, two 12's?! youll be bumpin. but im pretty sure they say you should upgrade "the big three" (alternator, wiring, batter) with that kind of power. or atleast get a cap.
i installed a powered sub with the stock head unit but i had to buy an output converter because there arent rca outputs on the back of the stock head unit.. i bought this ![]() at walmart for about 15 bucks. it was still kind of tricky because i had to splice into the radio wires because i didnt want to cut them, but it works great. good luck!

You can buy both harnesses and make a coupler so that you can wire stuff in without cutting the factory harness:
Plug into harness: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scosche-TA02...#ht_2152wt_952 Plug into Radio: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-WIRE-...ht_3273wt_1136 Splice line level converter into junction of the two adapter harnesses. |

Thanks for advice will take into consideration. Nah don't need a capacitor. Might be buying a aftermarket head unit probably jvs or kenwood today, rather then stuff around with the oem. I am from australia as well, so just get wiring harness and hook it in. I'll be getting 0 gauge later on because its a twin 12" active design because in the lil yaris with parcel shelf off it will be loud enough :) 0 gauge will just give more current :DDDD, Might get a fuse clip thing and hook the REM into that :o rather then splice wires, it's annoying i don't have any heatshrink or a soldering iron or wire splitters D:. Any advice on a good 120 -130AUD head unit?, cheers!.
