Did anybody try to attach an Ipad Mini to the dashboard?
I would like to change the stereo by my ipad mini and an amplifier. Any ideas?

Car play is a good suggestion...
...there may be something out there that fits the iPad. I haven't seen (or looked) one yet though. I don't think the demand is great enough. I stand to be corrected though. If I was still into competitive car audio, I might have tried something like that. Here's the thing, all you need is a 3.5mm to an RCA and that'll give you your signal to the amplifier. That's an old hot rodder's trick so you don't have to spend a lot of money. Just get the iPad charged and you're fine (save for the weak voltage output on the signal). That's why you have this plugged into some type processor that steps up the signal voltage to at least 4-5 non clipped Volts then heads to the amplifier.
