Intermittent time control wiper stalk for RHD - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hello all.

I saw in the thread on "changing wiper stalk to prius one to gain intermittent time control functionality" that some members were interested on how to do this for us right hand drive people.

Its very easy, last weekend I acquired a wiper control stalk that's identical to my one but with the time control. Its standard on the 1.3 CVT Vitz. Why it isn;t on the RS beats me. Anyways its just a straight swapout , no need wiring/modifications.

The methodology is pretty much identical to the Left hand drive instructions but sides are swapped. I have attached images, sorry some images were not clear.

PS. If anyone needs the wiperstalk I used, there are heaps at the breakers here. I am happy to sell on to whoever needs them. Just PM me.

just did mine. thanks for posting this, clarifies RHD can be done equally easy.
I got ZVW30 Prius one for 2500 yen from Japan while buying some other bits. (90 series stalks seem to be a lot more expensive at ~10000 yen, although these might be new)
I reckon it will be no more expensive even if including shipping - beats garbage class part from pick a part at NZD 40.
