Rear axle lateral movement
My 2007 HB is experiencing axle hop when cornering over bumps, feels like the car shifts a few inches, it also has vibration issues in the 55-60 MPH range (90-100 Km/hr) and there is a definite metallic thud when hitting bumps/cracks in the road.
I'm guessing the axle bushings are shot, as I've read that the stock rubber ones aren't that good. Think a shock replacement at the same time would be in order ? Any replacement ideas (in Canada) for this ? I was going to check NAPA first, but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, '07 5 Door HB, 1.5L, 5 spd: 231,500 Km (~ 145,00 miles) |
