Weird burning smell

I have a 2018 toyota yaris iA. Haven't been a month yet since i purchase a used car with 60,200 miles on my birthday.
I have smelled a weird small smell like something is burning. I don't know what it is. I called the dealership and said nothing can be done since I bought it AS IS and don't got any warranty on the car itself. I bought doubting anything wrong with it. I test drove it and all and the person whom sold it to me along with my dad heard a noise coming from rear of car. He said they weren't going to charge me for fixing the noise which ended up being a both when bearings from the rear tires.

But on the first two weeks i smelled something burning not a major smell but small. I dismissed it thinking it was the cars next to me at the stop light. Yesterday, it was a little rough on the smell. I was listening to my youtube music using the bluetooth provided. I thought it had something to do with the radio and/or bluetooth. The seller told me to bring it in. I brought it in and they said they were going to charge me $267 for the diagnostic if I decide to not fix it. But if I decide to fix whatever issue that they were not gonna charge me for diagnostic and only charge me for labor and parts. I got frustrated since it ain't even a month since I bought on the 16th of February.

I spoke with seller and he said they will charge me for labor and parts and they can't do nothing. I cannot return it to them because they have a return policy of 5 days or 400 some miles. Whichever is first.

Anyone encounter such issues with a Yaris iA similar to mine? I got a mechanic to come take a look at it. I know him very well since we both work at same place and got a really good diagnostic tool not like the ones you buy for $100. I think he said it costed him $1000 or more . Can't remember the price it had when he bought it but seems reliable.

PS: I have probed car fuses for mileages at auction sites and when you probe the wrong one , the smell is similar to what I have smelled on three occasions. My bluetooth after the last smell went static and don't know if it's that. The dealership service guy which I doubt is a mechanic told me bluetooth has nothing to do with the smell since it's wireless. But who knows. Will update soon but let me know if you have encountered same issue. And the dealer which sold me the car thinks it's plastic bags from the road and that they stick to muffler that's hot after he asked me if I had my windows rolled down. On three occasions? I highly doubt it's that.

No engine light came on which is a good sign. So not worried fully.
