The racelands are hit or miss really as far as cars I have seen with them....depends on the roads, the low,and if you hit it slow....
The Scion guys been using them with success on 1st gens and the tC guys have been doing ok on them, most the ones broken are also slammed and nothing last long if it cant travel. I would put them on my car but would rather have a set of Tokico's and a good spring. Give em a try,the cost is good, but the spring weight seems to me like the butt of the car would be rough on the road, mine is on just springs...thank God just a month or so and I can start the airbags install... |

Yeah, x2 on the fact that 1st gen xB and Yaris have little to no similarities. The rear shock mounts are different, and the front uppers are totally different.

They have already sucessfully installed and tested one on a Yaris LB, everything from the 1 Gen XB kit/Yaris kit was an exzact fit. Like I said earlier, if your skeptical about, call and ask Racland yourself. I just ordered these Tuesday and there comming in today.

Ok, I talked to Raceland; very nice guy on the phone.
He can't confirm that anyone can personally confirm the fitment over there. (they have new management). So he's not 100% either. He is sending me a couple of pictures of the actual coilovers (the one from their site is a generic picture), and I will line them up with other brands so we can see if it's a match. He's as curious as I am to confirm that these will work on the Yaris. So, onward, I really do hope they work, a $329 set of coilovers would be really appealing to a lot of Yaris owners.

hopefully it's just a typo and that the mixed up the D for a B, because i know 100% that the first gen xB suspension won't fit on a yaris. xD suspension on the other hand would as I'm pretty sure they share the same platform.

The coilovers are for the xB (that's a B for sure). He says a Yaris customer is "test fitting" them. Is that you, Yarice?
He's going to take a few more pics, too. Raceland lower strut mount: Yaris lower strut mount:

Elongating the lower hole could bring it back in spec, then just weld on a washer so it does not move.
