Foot Rest/Dead Pedal
OK, I've only had my Yaris since Saturday evening; but one of the first things I noticed was the lack of a foot rest/dead pedal. I did a search but found very little, and with the recent hacking on this site there are a lot of posts from the last year that are gone; so I am hoping someone has found a solution and can post it here.
BTW, my neighbor works at the Tundra plant here in town, so something from that vehicle may be easy to obtain! ![]() Cheers! M2 |

I have the same set. It is very good quality. I think its a oem assesory in taiwan. Plus it was very cheap too. I think i paid like 30 dollars shipped or close to that.
It was a little hard to isntall though. word of advice use some soapy water when installing the pads. I found that trick out after fighting nonstop for nearly 30 minutes to pop the gas pedal on. The dead pedal took some trial and error. You will see what i mean if you purchase it. |

I got a rubber floormat from pepboys and cut it to fit, then used double sided tape to hold it in place. It has been there for 18 months.

I got the same pedals. The only hard one to get on was the gas pedal. I trimmed a bit of it off, mainly the bottom part if I remember right. After that it went on with little effort and stayed on without any problems. The only downside is its meant for a/t only so theres is no cover for the clutch. I got an a/t though ;).
