Interior fan speed dial backlight blown
I found out that my fan speed dial light no longer works during night time, guess it an loose connection or the bulb burned. Is it easy to check it myself or go straight to the dealership?
Thanks |

I too have that problem to but have found that a quick rap with a finger brings it back on. Not the best soloution but it works. I suspect the bulb is going.

Replacing the bulb is not hard. There's a good thread on here about changing the color of the lights that has pictures of the process. You have to remove the vertical trim pieces (which pull off from the bottom), pull out the HVAC control panel, and then separate the back section of the knob from the front. This last step is the one where you need to be careful, as it is easy to snap the plastic tabs that keep the two halves together.
