Call to those who have installed foglamps.
Hi guys, I purchased the OEM Style fog lamps from eBay and would like to get a heads up as to what to expect or tips for the installation. Thanks in advance!

WASP I haven't installed the fogs, but I'm interested in the install aswell. I've been on the fence about purchasing the fogs from ebay. Which one did you buy? I've saw about 3 of them on ebay. Goodluck.

The OEM style are, as far as I can tell, EXACTLY like the Toyota kit, you just snap out the finishers, bolt up the fogs and run the wiring, and snap in the new finishers, I beleive there's a toyota shop manual posted somewhere on here detailing fog installation, the Ebay OEM-style units install the exact same way.
EDIT: Well... I can't seem to find the pdf on here, if anyone needs it, pm me with your e-mail, I'll send it to you |

Is installing the oem fogs just plug and play, or do I have to patch into some wiring?

has anyone installed these yet? i heard a rumour that even the base sedans are wired to have foglights, and that its simple as snapping out the plastic inserts and installing the aftermarket "stock" cover and foglamp. do they just pop out or do you have to pull off the front bumper?
