Some stuff
Hi guys got some cosmetics, picture is my car atm all stock.
Need some opinions on the Hood Deflector anyone have it? I am taking my car in Saturday to get some splash guy front/rear installed, bumper protector, and the hood deflector. Plan on getting rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tip cover etc maybe the canadian tire one but anyways to the point and present. Deflector look good on yaris yes/no? Also I need some opinions Will these fit the yaris and do you think they will look decent. HubCaps: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-1...Q5fAccessories http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-H...Q5fAccessories http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-H...Q5fAccessories http://cgi.ebay.ca/New-Hubcap-Univer...item483b8687be I like the first third and last ones the most though, I have steelies so want to have them covered. Thanks for input guys. I appreciate it. Edit: Forgot my car here it is, also I'm pretty sure stock wheels are 15" http://i54.tinypic.com/nmi48x.jpg

DUDE I liked the idea of the first one covering the whole wheel looks cool imo.
Second one looks cheap but I figured I'd give it a chance.

And yeah back to the snow the whole tip thing makes sense being steel now lol any specific ones on ebay that would work? I am looking at tons of 4inch wide or something not sure if that would fit.

I spray paint my steelies every year or so. Takes care of the rust on the thing in the middle of the thing. ANd I think the Black steelies looks better than hubcaps.. Although I was thinking about painting my hubcaps just to see what it looks like... llol..

Depends on your cars color I guess, I don't see steelies going well with my car. I love the idea of beauty rings but I'm scared they'll just fall off in the winter

Kevin, I currently have some mods lined up as well. So maybe we can bounce ideas off of each other?
Here is what I have planned so far. 1) 23mm rear sway bar (installed) 2) Micro Image Lowering Springs (ordered) 3) Neffy Wrap (ordered) 4) Spoiler for my HB Yaris. (ordered) 5) Beautification Trims (waiting to install) My plan is to Neffy Wrap that spoiler, clear coat it a 4-5 times, wet sand, clear coat 1 more time, wet sand and then wax. Hopefully it'll look as good as it does in my head. What ever is left from the Neffy roll, it's 3 feet by 55", I'll use to wrap my interiors. I'm not going to install the beautication trims until my car is lowered. Just wouldn't look right on a stock height. That should calm the urge to mod for a bit, but I just know that in a month or so, I'll be installing the NST pulley set, a CAI or a short ram, and new Shock struts! |

Beautification trims? What do you mean, car body lines or wheels etc. Sounds cool either way. Spoiler REALLY helps the look on Hatchbacks/Liftbacks, all depends which spoiler you went for in my opinion. So that's a good cosmetic it gives it a nicer sporty look instead of hey thats a cute car. and honestly, the only reason I didn't get a hatchback was because it looks BADASS lowered, but here were I live it's impossible to lower a car without damaging it within a day, so I support the whole lowering it with the spoiler combo your car should look great man, got any pictures?

I choose the 1st ones. Don't really care for the others. There's a Yarisworld member with those full wheel covers on his HB, and he's posted pics somewhere on the forum and they look great! Trim rings and center caps look outstanding as well.
EDIT: Here you go... Last edited by kimona; 09-16-2010 at 08:47 AM. |
