Rear VITZ Emblem & Hatch Opener Painted Polar White. [pics]
Was free today, so did a few little mods to the egg beater..
Rear Vitz emblem and hatch opener paint matched. Deciding if the wiper delete is next. I use it quite a bit, and this is my commuter car, so it may stay afterall. Front Vitz emblem will be tomorrow. I will paint match all the chrome bits polar white, just as I did my original Toyota emblem. Last was the billet stubby antenna from an old vendor here - carcessorys.com. |

Sexy Chris! Does this mean there is a little black badge on its way with a bunch of intake parts tomorrow?
GOD that looks clean! Next question is can you white out tail lights? |

Aw, bummer! Its OK though, it'll just have to wait until spring with the rest of the chrome accents.

That looks nice. I'm going to be painting my front and rear badges metallic blue in say maybe 2 months or so to match the rims and interior theme.

Great Job, can you tell me which paint did you use for the hatch opener and the procedure to paint it?

On 2nd look I think I might like it a tad better if the black on the Netz logo was left black and just the chrome was painted over...not sure though. Would have to see it. |

ghostly.... but nice!
I agree, for the front emblem, I'd say leave the background black, it would probably look better. But in the end, you car, your decision

Front emblem, like i said, will only get the CHROME bits paint matched.
As for the rear, just painting the black parts would have looked retarded, as the only black is on the sides of the Vitz "swoop." Leaving them black, and paint matching just the chrome would have looked even worse. For those unsure of what they are talking about here, this is a front and rear Vitz emblem before painting. |
