New Trick
Hello friends, today were speaking with a friend and he said me that a trick exists that consists of a resitencia that goes in the sensor of manifold and deceives the ECU of the Car so that this it sends much gasoline and the car runs better and fast
Somebody knows something? soon i will take photos to him so that they see what I say

Sounds like the Juice Box crapola mod... simple 5cent parts you can buy at the store, to do absoultly nothing.

In theory this resistorreduces the signal voltage from the MAF sensor, as a result of which the ECU will adjust the amount of fuel being sprayed into the engine.
BUT... Most modern cars including the Yaris have "learning" ECUs that can detect this change in the input voltage (only one variable is being changed, it sees it as an anomaly), and adjusts itself to give the amount of fuel it is supposed to in the first place. As far as I can see, you'd really need a full ECU rewrite for this to work.

But would it hurt MPG? MPG is the primary consideration.

Adding random amounts of fuel wont give you more power... It is the correct combination of air and fuel that yields the most ponies. Only when you shove more oxygen in to the engine(Turbo, Supercharger, NOS) will more fuel be of any real benefit.
