GROUP BUY - NST Crank Pulley
That's right folks, time for another performance part GB!!! I've received requests from numerous yarisworld.com members so this time we have a lightened OEM size crank pulley available from NonStopTuning (NST). It's a single groove crank pulley which will fit both the liftback and the sedan. The price will be $115USD via PayPal or $130CAD via Email money transfer. Pricing includes shipping direct to your door US/Canada. Each pulley comes with a 1 year warranty.
We need a minimum order quantity of 12 pcs, and we'll leave the GB open until January 2, 2007. Payments can be made to my paypal account, after the GB closes I will transfer funds and we should receive the parts in 4-6 weeks. Any additional import taxes, duties, and brokerage fees where applicable, are the responsibility of the buyer. Attached picture is to give you an idea of what the product will look like, but is not an accurate representation of the final product. The NonStopTuning Lite series is a designation used for pulleys that are light-weight versions of their OEM counterparts. All NST pulleys are built using High quality 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and are easily 50% to 60% lighter than steel or cast iron OEM pulleys. The NST Lite series is designed for owners looking to reduce weight and increase the throttle response of their engines. that depends on what you're looking for, just know that underdrive pulleys sometimes require smaller belts or can cause unwanted suprises with alternators, a/c compressors, and so forth, so these lightweight pulleys like the NST are the better if you don't want the headaches that can unexpectedly occur with some underdrive pulleys

Not sure how it compares to the c-one but this one won't require any different belts. I'll find out about the MT vs AT issue, but I'm pretty sure that you'll see gains either way.

The C-one is not an under-drive pulley,but by the looks of it,I shoulda waited.The C-one is $270,so this is a great deal,wish I coulda got in riceboy,but its already on its way here,now I might think about selling it,Ill see how it goes when I do the install.

does anybody know the weight ration between this pulley and the OEM pulley? and how much will it really add on to the power of the car?

It doesn't actually add any power, it just frees up a bit of power that was there all along... takes more power to spin a pulley that is two times heavier than another. I wasn't really sure if the C-One was an underdrive pulley or not, basically the only difference is probably price, but for JDM junkies, the C-One is a good pulley for a decent price, if you MUST have JDM product. But this pulley is probably the better deal. Both pulleys should work for A/T or M/T, the crank pulley shouldn't be different between versions. Always remember, mods like this work better in conjunction with other bolt ons, allows you to squeeze out as much power as you can.
